SYMPTOMS
PP3004 – Power cable malfunction.
P0AA1 – Hybrid battery positive contactor circuit
stuck closed.
The light READY does not light up on the
instrument cluster.
Engine does not start.
Fault codes recorded in the hybrid system control unit.
The vehicle displays one or several of the above – mentioned fault codes.
NOTE: The light READY indicates that the vehicle is started, whether in electric or thermal mode.
CAUSE/S
Internal defect in the junction block of the hybrid battery.
SOLUTION
Repair procedure:
- Read the fault codes recorded in the hybrid system control unit using the diagnostic tool.
- Confirm that one or several of the fault codes that appear in the field symptoms of this bulletin are displayed.
- Confirm that the symptoms that appear in the field symptoms of this bulletin are reproduced.
- Replace the junction block of the hybrid battery (See image) with a modified version, by following the indications of the repair manual.
