Excessive hissing noise coming from the engine and/or gearbox.

NOTE: This technical bulletin affects only vehicles equipped with specific engines. B4D engines that start with B000001 and end with QZZZZZZZZ.

NOTE: This technical bulletin affects only vehicles equipped with a specific gearbox. Gearbox (BVM) JH3.

NOTE: This technical bulletin affects only vehicles manufactured in Brazil.

NOTE: This technical bulletin affects only vehicles within a specific manufacturing date. Manufactured between 01/07/2020 and 31/12/2021.

 Excessive gearbox vibration.

SOLUTION
Repair procedure:
• Confirm that the symptom mentioned in the field symptoms of this bulletin is reproduced.
• Replace the fastening nut of the gearbox elastic support with a new one with REF: 7703033179. Tighten to a torque of 62 Nm.
• Install acoustic mass with REF: 112227040R on the fastening nut.
• Install another fastening nut with REF: 7703033179 on the acoustic mass. Tighten to a torque of 62 Nm.
• Confirm that the customer’s concerns have disappeared.

NOTE: According to the study of this issue, the final solution is currently under investigation.

 Vibración excesiva de la caja de velocidades.

SOLUCIÓN
Procedimiento de reparación:
• Confirmar que se reproduce el síntoma mencionado en el campo síntoma de este boletín.
• Sustituir la tuerca de fijación del soporte elástico de la caja de velocidades por una nueva con REF: 7703033179. Apretar a un par de 62 Nm.
• Colocar masa acústica con REF: 112227040R sobre la tuerca de fijación.
• Colocar otra tuerca de fijación con REF: 7703033179 en la masa acústica. Apretar a un par de 62 Nm.
• Confirmar que el efecto cliente ha desaparecido.

NOTA: Según el estudio de esta incidencia, la solución final está en proceso de investigación.

SOLUÇÃO
Procedimento de reparação:
• Confirmar que se reproduz o sintoma mencionado no campo de sintomas do boletim.
• Substituir a porca que fixa o suporte elástico na caixa de velocidades por um novo com REF: 7703033179. Apertar a um binário de 62 Nm.
• Colocar a massa acústica com a REF: 112227040R na porca de fixação.
• Colocar uma outra porca de fixação com REF: 7703033179 na massa acústica. Apertar com um binário de 62 Nm.
• Confirmar que o problema do cliente desapareceu.

NOTA: De acordo com o estudo deste incidente, a solução final está a ser investigada.

PROCÉDURE DE RÉPARATION
• Confirmer que les symptômes mentionnés dans le champ symptômes de ce bulletin sont reproduits.
• Remplacer l’écrou de fixation du support élastique de la boîte de vitesses par un nouveau RÉF : 7703033179. Serrer à un couple de 62 Nm.
• Placer la masse acoustique avec RÉF : 112227040R sur l’écrou de fixation.
• Placer un autre écrou de fixation avec RÉF : 7703033179 sur la masse acoustique. Serrer à un couple de 62 Nm.
• Confirmer que l’effet client a disparu.

NOTE : selon l’étude de cet incident, la solution finale est en cours d’investigation.

 Overmatige trilling van de versnellingsbak.

PROCEDURE VOOR REPARATIE
Reparatie procedure:
• Bevestig dat het symptoom dat in het symptoomveld van dit bulletin wordt genoemd, is gereproduceerd.
• Vervang de moer waarmee de elastische beugel op de versnellingsbak is bevestigd door een nieuwe met REF: 7703033179. Vastdraaien met een aanhaalmoment van 62 Nm.
• Plaats de akoestische massa met REF: 112227040R op de bevestigingsmoer.
• Plaats een extra bevestigingsmoer REF: 7703033179 op de akoestische massa. Vastdraaien met een aanhaalmoment van 62 Nm.
• Bevestig dat het klanteneffect is verdwenen.

OPMERKING: Volgens de studie van dit incident, wordt de definitieve oplossing onderzocht.
